“It was a week before our marriage. We went to a mall to shop for our wedding with both our families. All our family members were busy in the purchase and that’s when I presented a ring to her in front of everyone and she was in complete shock.” Samatha continues, “I did not expect that he would surprise me in front of our whole family. That is the happiest and most memorable day for both of us.”

When I ask Venkat about their wedding day, he says, “It is very special to me. Like everyone, I waited for this day for so long. The moment I saw her in the bridal attire, I went blank. That was the first time I saw Samatha in a saree. She looked so beautiful.”

I then ask Samatha and Venkat as to what quality they like about each other? To this she says, “I am a bit impulsive whereas he is calm and composed, but he balances me out. I adore that about him.”

“She gives more importance to values and socialises with everyone easily. That’s what I really like about her,” concludes Venkat.
